Abbey Hotel Roscommon is only 40 minutes from Ireland's West Airport in Knock, and with the completion of the new N4 Kilcock/Kinnegad Bypass, Dublin Airport is less than 1 1/2 hours away and Galway is under an hour.
The Abbey Hotel Roscommon provides a helicopter pad on site for guests wishing to arrive by helicopter.
Over all pleasant and enjoyable experience, staff very friendly and rooms very spacious and tidy. Food excellant.
The Abbey is a lovely Hotel - My husband ,myself and 2 children (aged 2 and 4) stayed just one day and night but our stay will remain with us forever. The staff made me feel so welcome and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable - The pool is fantastic and the kids loved it. The old Abbey was well worth a visit and we were lucky to have the sun shine to see the gardens at their best. If we get the chance we will definitely return.
