Couldn’t find a single fault, excellent experience in the Abbey. Sorted a wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor nearest to amenities. The room was bright and airy, and the bathroom was totally accessible as promised. The food was fantastic with a large array of dishes available. All areas of the hotel, indoor and out, were spotless. Wedding and music festival on Friday night so we prepared for a noisy night but didn’t hear a sound. Wheelchair parking at the entrance was secure parking. Would highly recommend it.

Spent a few days on holiday break in Roscommon and the Abbey was an excellent choice as a place to base ourselves. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and very pleasant staff made our stay most enjoyable. Will definitely return very soon.

I was part of a group of ladies who stayed in the Abbey Hotel last weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful from arrival at check in to the bar and then dining room. The dinner on Saturday evening was excellent, the salmon was delicious. The bedroom was spacious, clean and very comfortable, allowing for a good sleep. The overall hygiene and cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and all the staff seemed to be very well trained and managed. Thank you for everything. We will be back.

We had a brilliant 3 night stay in The Abbey and we loved every minute of it. We loved the old world charm of the hotel while also having everything we needed for a family break. The family room was large and cosy with a lovely view of the abbey. The kids pool was one of the biggest we have visited and was over looked by the jacuzzi so us adults were able to enjoy that while the kids enjoyed the pool. We really did love everything about this hotel but its biggest asset is definitely its staff. Each member of staff was so friendly and attentive, they were second to none.
