What are the check-in/check-out times?
Rooms are available from 3.00pm daily. If you wish to check in at an earlier time, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate this. Check-out is at 12.00pm.

Does the hotel offer an early arrival or a late check out?
The hotel offers both early check ins and late departures, but both are subject to availability. Please contact reservations for more information on 090 66 26240.

Is The Abbey Hotel a non-smoking hotel?
Yes, all bedrooms are completely non-smoking. It is also against the hotel’s policy to use E-Cigarettes or vapes in our Hotel, bedrooms or within the building. A deep cleaning fee will be charged to guests who are found to be in breach of our no smoking policy. We have a designated smoking area outside of the building to accommodate guests who wish to smoke.

Do you have WiFi?
Yes, we have complimentary WiFi throughout the property.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Only assistance dogs are permitted in the hotel.

What is the cancelation policy?
Our cancellation policy can be found on your confirmation email, at booking stage when booking online, or by contacting a member of our reservations team on 090 66 26240.

Do you have the option to upgrade rooms?
Yes, we have upgraded suites available for an additional charge. We can also offer special touches to the bedrooms to celebrate a milestone in your life or special occasion. Please contact our reservations team for more details.

Does the hotel accommodate people with disabilities/mobility problems?
We have a number of wheelchair accessible rooms and mobility friendly walk in showers. Please mention this when making your booking or make a note during the booking stage to request one of these rooms.

All meeting rooms are equipped with audio visual equipment, air conditioning, WiFi, LCD projectors and stationery.

What are dining options in The Abbey Hotel?
Our award-winning chefs are ready to delight your taste buds in our restaurant specialising in fresh, locally sourced dishes, served with thoughtful care and artisan flair. Expect a varied menu that marries traditional favourites with seasonal creativity—perfect for special evenings, family dinners, or celebratory meals.
We offer a formal dining setting in our Terrace restaurant or a more casual dining experience in the Abbey lounge and bar.
Hotel Dining Time
Breakfast is served:
Monday to Friday 7:30am – 10.00am
Saturday and Sunday breakfast is from 8:00am – 10:30am
Carvery Lunch is served:
Monday to Friday in our lounge from 12:30pm – 3.00pm Saturday and Sunday carvery is from 12:30pm – 4:00pm
Dinner is served daily in our lounge and bar from 4:00pm – 9:00pm with our early bird menu commencing at 3:00pm
We also serve lunch daily in our Terrace Restaurant from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, however a reservation in required. Dinner is served in the restaurant each evening from 6:00pm to 9:00pm We can cater to group bookings outside of these times, to arrange same please contact our restaurant manager by phone 090 66 26240 or by email restaurant@abbeyhotel.ie
