From the minute we went to view the Abbey Hotel, we just fell in love with the place. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, we took every advantage on our wedding day for all the wonderful photo opportunities. The process with booking and planning our wedding was smooth and stress free, there was nothing that Lisa and the team couldn’t do for us. The running of the day was impeccable, it flowed so well, and every member of staff was so pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms are really lovely and also accommodate for disability access which was really important to us in choosing a venue. We really don’t have enough words to say about how delighted we are to have chosen the Abbey Hotel for our Wedding Day.

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Abbey Hotel Roscommon, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, everything was absolutely seamless. The service was flawless, it was quick, professional, and so friendly. A special mention has to go to Lisa, our wonderful wedding coordinator. She was an absolute gem to deal with so organised, calm, and helpful. The ballroom looked stunning, beautifully decorated with thoughtful extra touches that really made it feel special. What we loved most was how relaxed the entire day felt. Everything flowed naturally, and it meant we could truly enjoy ourselves and soak it all in. We’ll never forget it, and we’ll be singing your praises for years to come!

The Abbey was the first venue we viewed when we got engaged. The hotel has such charm and is still family owned and you can really tell. Lisa the Wedding Manager could not have been more helpful, the detail she gave us for the packages and her advice was invaluable, no question was too silly and nothing we wanted was too much. Our wedding day ran so smooth, not even the rain held us back! We had so so many guests comment to us that the food on our wedding day was sensational and plenty of it, the staff should be all so proud of the work that they do. It was honestly such a wonderful day, I would recommend The Abbey to any potential couples!

Lisa and all the staff in the Abbey Hotel were amazing from the first time we went to view the hotel. Lisa talked us through the whole day, giving ideas and suggestions as well as a list of vendors if we were stuck. She made the whole process so easy and stress free. The hotel looked stunning on our wedding day, the outside seating was gorgeous and the grounds were stunning. The ballroom was set up beautifully for our ceremony, and the staff had it transformed in no time for dinner. The cocktail reception was a great hit with many people mentioning how lovely they were. The meal, service and overall attention was amazing. I cannot recommend the Abbey for a wedding highly enough.
