We had our wedding at the Abbey Hotel Roscommon at the end of March and we were absolutely delighted with how everything went from start to finish. From our very first meeting with Lisa, we knew this was the hotel for us. She was fantastic throughout the entire process — always responding to our messages, keeping us updated, and putting our minds at ease by assuring us everything was in hand, which it absolutely was. On the day itself, Adrian and Darren ensured everything ran smoothly and seamlessly. The food was incredible, and Chef Alison catered to our guests’ needs without hesitation. She was so helpful during our menu tasting with her recommendations and even kindly loaned us one of her own decorations to use as our wishing tree, which was such a thoughtful touch. Bar Manager Loughlan also went above and beyond by ordering drinks that are not usually stocked in the bar after a request from the groom. Our wedding guests were extremely impressed with the service throughout both the pre-dinner drinks reception and the dinner itself. The guests who stayed overnight enjoyed beautiful rooms, and the excellent care and service continued the following morning at breakfast. We are absolutely delighted that we chose the Abbey Hotel for our wedding reception. It truly was wonderful and made our day so special.

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Abbey Hotel on 11th July 2026, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. From the very first day we met Lisa, we knew The Abbey Hotel was where we wanted to celebrate our special day. Lisa was a huge part of that decision. She was incredibly warm, friendly, approachable and professional from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no matter how big or small the request. She took so much of the stress away and made us feel completely looked after throughout the entire planning process. On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure the day was perfect, allowing us to relax and simply enjoy every moment. We had 240 guests, and the feedback we received was nothing short of exceptional. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, generous in portion size, and of an incredible standard. So many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding meal they had ever experienced, which is a real testament to the chefs and waiting staff. The service throughout the day was flawless. The hotel itself was immaculate, and the ballroom was absolutely stunning. It created the perfect atmosphere and looked even more beautiful than we had imagined. A special mention also to Adrian, who was incredibly helpful both in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day itself. His support and professionalism were greatly appreciated. The Abbey Hotel will always hold a very special place in our hearts. It was the perfect setting to begin our married life together, and we’re so grateful to Lisa, Adrian, and every member of the team for making our wedding day so unforgettable.
